Tony Dress

Tony Dress has spent more than three decades helping young people grow through athletics, leadership, and international education. As the Founder and President of Northern Light Sports and Co-Founder of World Stage Travels, he is dedicated to creating meaningful experiences that combine sports, cultural exchange, and lifelong learning.
A highly respected collegiate baseball coach, Tony currently serves as the Hitting Coach at Diablo Valley College in Pleasant Hill, California. Throughout his coaching career, he has held leadership positions at San Francisco State University, Los Medanos College, and Acalanes High School, helping hundreds of student-athletes advance to four-year universities and professional baseball. His coaching philosophy emphasizes character, preparation, accountability, and developing young people for success both on and off the field.
Tony's passion for international sports began in 1993 when he joined Major League Baseball International. Working throughout Europe and around the world as an international baseball instructor and ambassador, he witnessed firsthand the unique ability of sport to transcend language, culture, and borders. Those experiences shaped his belief that athletics could become a powerful vehicle for education, friendship, leadership, and cultural understanding. The relationships he built and the countries he visited during those years continue to influence his work today.
Inspired by those experiences, Tony founded Northern Light Sports in 2010 with the vision of providing young athletes and their families opportunities to experience the world through sport. While the achievements of Northern Light Sports are the result of an outstanding team of coaches, partners, volunteers, and international organizations, Tony continues to guide the vision and strategic direction of the company. He works closely with schools, clubs, tourism boards, and international sports federations to develop programs that combine elite competition with authentic cultural experiences.
Today, Tony focuses on building international partnerships, mentoring coaches, designing unique travel programs, and ensuring every Northern Light Sports and World Stage Travels experience reflects the highest standards of professionalism, safety, and hospitality. His attention to detail and commitment to service have helped establish long-term relationships with organizations across Europe, Asia, the Caribbean, and the Pacific.
Tony believes that while championships are memorable, the most meaningful victories often happen away from the scoreboard. Sharing meals with local families, exploring historic cities, competing with respect, and building friendships across cultures are the experiences that leave the greatest impact. His goal is to ensure every traveler returns home with a broader perspective, greater confidence, and memories that last a lifetime.

Dave Majeski brings decades of coaching, leadership, and international sports experience to Northern Light Sports and World Stage Travels. Throughout his career, he has earned a reputation for building successful programs, developing confident athletes, and creating team environments where accountability, preparation, and character are just as important as performance.
As both a coach and international travel leader, Dave believes that the greatest lessons in sport often happen beyond the field. His athlete-first approach emphasizes personal growth, resilience, leadership, and respect for different cultures, helping players become better competitors while broadening their perspective of the world.
Dave has led teams through championship seasons, guided athletes to the next level of competition, and organized international travel experiences that combine high-level competition with meaningful cultural immersion. His calm leadership, attention to detail, and commitment to excellence help ensure every trip is organized, educational, and memorable.
At Northern Light Sports and World Stage Travels, Dave oversees travel operations with the same professionalism he brings to coaching. From tournament logistics and team preparation to cultural experiences and player development, he works to create journeys that challenge athletes, strengthen relationships, and leave lasting memories for players, coaches, and families alike.
